Croc Character Model

Name: Sam| Age: 16| Going into a game development course later this year so need all the help i can get!

Hey! So I got bored and happened to stumble across a reference image for Croc so i decided…why not! and ended up creating a very basic mesh.
Croc is the main protagonist in the PS1 game Croc/Croc 2

This is what i’ve got so far!


This is the mesh i have created so far with the reference image behind.


This is the render image of the mesh with a green background.

I need to work mostly on the arms, feet and legs so any tips would be great!!
What do you think??

I would suggest you use a subsurf modifier for this kind of organic modeling since you want to have a smooth model. You seem to have some “sharp” edges in the model where they dont belong.
And I noticed that the feed are not level with the ground. That could become a problem.

Other thatn that its a good model. Proportions are fine.
