Sorry to answer a bit late, I´m on line twice a week. To get real glass difractions use a node tree as they are in the next pics, use Cycles render and settings like I show in following pics.
Ups, just that setting are for diamonds and they refraction are different, on glass is about 1.3-1.6 and in carbone diamand is about 2.6.
