I have been having real problems with a recent blender install (which I might ask about later) but right now blender confirmed my CTRL X selection without me doing anything when I pressed it losing me a lot of work as I don’t believe my autosave was on. Anyway to get back my work?
In the File menu… “Recover Last Session”
…provided you have write access to the folder it wants to save that to.
‘Recover Last Session’ almost always gives me an error… I don’t know what’s wrong with it (or me).
Recover last session recovered the originally loaded save file when I tried it last night as soon as I realised what I had done. I have now given up on recovering it but thank you for your time.
