Cup and saucer - practice modeling

Looks good so far. I think that’s what I need to do, start off with something very simple. It seems everytime I try something even slightly complicted it ends up blowing up in my face.

Is that all one mesh?

There is a shared cup mesh and a shared saucer mesh.

lol that is my problem too, and now i start with the basics, read the manual, tutorials, etc. watch videos…
Even if i try to do some simple scenes, it sometimes ends up with closing blender and shutting down the pc…but after a short while i take a deep breath and try it again…

Now to the cups, they are sweet, put coffee in it and lay a cookie aside…

Here’s an update on the bottom of the cup.
Maybe the handles are worse.

I think the handles look fine. The only thing I notice is that the saucer seems a bit too flat.

The saucers have been changed.
I might give up on making a good coffee material.
