The crosshair that creates the object disappeared. All I did was open the project and it was gone. Help appreciated, thx.
You could try shift-c to make the 3d cursor to go to the center of the scene. Also you can see 3D cursor coordinates in View -> View Properties.
This thread should have gone to the support section probably.
whenever you left mouse click blender sets the cursor to that point. so try clicking somewhere you can see, and the cursor should appear there.
