Curving a Shape

Hi all

I’m wondering what the best way to go about modelling the curved shapes for this concept art is?

I’m sure it’s something simple, but I’m not sure which next step to take.

I’d probably do it something like, start with a circle with a decent amount of verts, then select all the end edges and subdivide.

Edge slide the inner edge to match the thickness, then delete the inner faces.

Delete the faces so you’re left with a quarter circle.

Then you can extrude the whole thing to the desired thickness.

This is just one idea; you could do it other ways too.
