okay i’ve lathed/spinned an object. it’s profile was constructed from the side view, then lathed it from top view.
how do i cut screwholes going verticly?
Something like this?
If so I can’t imagine how it could be done.
Recalc object normal outside
Draw a cylinder the bore of the hole you desire
Place it wher hole will be
Select the lathed object firs, the cylinder second, press WKEY, select ‘Difference’, cross your fingers
This for 2.25
If you have 2.23 add step 0: Get 2.25

S68: That works. To seperate the body from the rest of the pieces ‘L’ key the body then seperate it ‘P’ key. To add the tube to the hole select the tube first then the body, ‘w’ key select Intersect, that will give you the tube cut to match the body. To work to work I must go to work.
