Cycles render shadows are not smooth


Not sure if the Blender terminology I will you is right but what I have is the shadow transition is somewhat choppy. You can see some sort of tiling going on.
Any idea what could cause this? If you need more info in regards to this issue I am more than happy to provide.

Thanks. I found one thread here on ba. in regards to this issue. Experimental feature set offers solution working with subdivision modifier. I have tried on my 5 objects and it did the job.
