Cycles Rendering Half the Image Grey

Hi there,
I’ve been trying to render a still image out using Cycles. In the Render Viewport it displays just fine, but as soon as I attempt to render it, half of the image shows up Gray!

Below is what the Renderer shows.

I thought it may have been a samples issue or perhaps a CPU vs GPU and have tried reducing the samples down but has made no difference… The object itsself does have a high polygon count, could that be the issue? why would it render part of it tho?

Am I making a silly mistake? please let me know asap! Appreciate it <3

this looks like you have a piece of geometry thats hidden in the viewport, but visible in renders
