Cycles Sky texture node

Hello!

I have tinkered around for ages with it, but I still cannot get any texture to appear in the Background/World material. Turning up turbidity in a sky texture attached to the bacground node does nothing! Can anyone post an image showing a simple setup to get a basic procedural cloudy sky in Cycles please?

Also, how can you get an horizon line in this way? Have searched internet and there is very little on this matter.

Just set the output from the Sky Texture node to the input of the Background node, then change to rendered view mode. If you use the node editor window you need to set it to World data, not Object data with the icon on the node window header.

Thanks Richard, but I had done all you suggest already. All I get is a single coloured blackground - no smooth overal gradiated variance of sky and no cloudy variance created by turbidity. Can you post a noce setup as you would do it just so I can double check, please?

Maybe this will help
