Hello blenderheads! So I am making a wip (may be my first ) and i need some help I have modeled out the chair but im kinda clueless on materials
I would like for the outer shell to be made of a glossy plastic which is easy but the part i need help with is the Leather inside I have no clue on how to do please help! thankyou in advance
First, you need to unwrap your object (there are many good tutorials on-line). Get a good leather texture image from the internet, and where it says ‘colour’ in the materials panel, click on the button next to it to bring up an input window. Click on ‘image’, and open up your image texture. In nodes, you can also use the image to make it look bumpy by plugging the image texture into the bottom of a mix node, and changing it to multiply. Then plug that node into the ‘displacement’ bit of the output node. You can change how bumpy it is by increasing or decreasing the factor value of the multiply node.
