Dark Matter Collision

I wanted to do a piece about a collision of dark matter. Pure Blender with compositing.

That is simply amazing. I wish I could do something like that! How do you do that blue flame/smoke. Compositing with a hand-drawn image?

The fire was a very painted, smoothed, and edited cloud texture, which I superimposed using it as a billboard texture.

Hmm… I don’t see the dark matter?
