This is a detailed model of Darth Vader’s helmet components and shoulder armour.
Modeled in Blender 2.74 and render with Cycles.

Thanks Yes I did follow his tutorial but decided to continue with the helmet detail.

Cool, this has inspired me to make one of my own. I will post when I’m done.
If that turns out well then I will do a Mcquiree concept Vader.

Nice work. I especially like the (apparently) slightly tinted reflection from the black plastic material–this looks quite convincing (or am I imagining that?). The scratches are also a very nice touch. And the modelling is great!
