DAZ Studio and UV unvrap

Hello to you,

I am writing to you because of this discovery ^^
I was ready to spend all my day in UV unvrap and be in difficultuies ^^
This model was bought on Daz studio but I would never have thought that by doing select A I would discover an unvrap ready to use :open_mouth:
However, I don’t have any visible seams, how can I bake all this? I have to create new images to organize all of those elements? I’m a little lost because it’s not in the sense that I was supposed to learn since everything is already done

Thank you for your lights

What did you use for export, save as an FBX or use Blender Bridge or Diffamorphic Plug-in?
If you saved your file as an FBX you have 2 ways of getting the textures to Blender…
I. Embed Textures or Gather textures in a folder…

In your images, it shows that all the texture slots are added, but no actual textures have been assigned… so that tells me that you didn’t select either of these options…

There is no Baking \required…the figure is UNwrapped by Daz …you just need to either re-export with one of the texture options selected or find where they are located after the export…with either of the other export options ( Daz Bridge or Diffamophic Plug-in…They come directly from the file and if you change to either Look-Dev or Rendered view the character will have all the textures applied and visible…

Thank you for your message !

Sorry I should have been more precise in my asking !

i’m not interested into the textures of my Daz model

I have a high polymesh with some sculptures and multiresolution. I’ve use the same model as a low poly and now I would like to bake UDIM of my low character with the high res scukpt of my high character , sorry if it’s alittle bit blurry

I’ve bought this addons that is suppose to join all the UDIM for bake it’s not seems to work

here a photo :

This is interesting to me as well. In Max these offset UV islands show up as being in different UV channels. In Max it makes sense to me but I would like to learn how the idea is implemented in blender as well as daz. Can you share the name of the addon you are using? Thank you.
