I started learning Blender 2.8 a few months ago and wanted to get my head around volumetric lighting, smoke simulation, cloth simulation, eevee and render nodes – so I purchased a skull model and forced myself to make a scene using the tools I wanted to learn Fun stuff!
The entire composition looks awesome and foreboding like he is about to resurrect

thanks! post work is mostly clarity in adobe camera raw, sharpen in PS and some simple color adjustments
