That one took me a long time actually, I struggled with the composition. I’m still not sure, you’ll see the other version et the end, maybe it’s better?
For the back story, the angel thing in the background comes from a 3D scan in a cathedral of my hometown of Liège, it comes “out of the box” with skulls and snakes. I loved to see this iconography associated with angels. I wanted to do something with it, challenging again the perception of good and evil, life and death, love and hate, ugly and beautiful and blur all the lines.
