Top 10 saddest anime deaths…
I used Cycles to bake the render into a color attribute on multiple canvases. Along with that + a few Python scripts to bake face area size and “brushstroke rotation” based on neighboring colors, I used a geometry nodes setup based on my “The Hospital Morning” artwork from last year to instance the brushstrokes and transfer the mesh attributes for color and rotation. I added the white canvas to give the background some texture. Rendered in Eevee.
