Default render settings?

I know every scene may need its own render settings to look its best… but you also want a set of default settings that will work okay for most scenes, at least to start with, that takes advantage of how the engine is meant to work best. Mostly in terms of bounces and performance options. But on updating to 3.0 I imported my old settings, including my old startup file with its render settings.

Is there a way to see what the “factory default” settings are for 3.0 without having to revert my install to “factory settings”? I’d lose a lot of customization that way.

Maybe it could be as simple as someone sending me a couple of screenshots?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I maybe wrong but I think you can open default startup .blend files that located somewhere at
…\Blender\3.0\scripts\startup\bl_app_templates_system\Sculpting (for example)
Maybe what you’re looking for is there

Rename the entire Blender config folder. I’ve done this many times.

When you are ready to go back, deleted the newly created config folder and rename the correct one, back to the proper name.
