Default Settings problem

If you’ve accidentally changed your default settings, is there a way to get them back to what they were in the first place???

I think there are two options:

  • reminding the old settings and restore them manually
  • having the .B.blend file backup’d and restore this now

I don’t know any other way…

  1. clean out the present file, reset EVERYTHING like your headers and 3D cursor to where you want it and hit Ctrl-U to save that as default.

  2. find the file B.blend and delete it. Restart Blender and a new, default B.blend will be generated.

okay, I forgot these two ways to get back to the absolute default settings. I understood this question more like getting back to some previous done user-settings. :slight_smile:
