Hello friends! This work portrayed the attempted courtship between a couple of Deinonychus. Sexual dimorphism can be seen in the pattern and colors of the feathers. In this art, the male Deinonychus tries to woo the female by standing up and ruffling his neck feathers to show his bright spots and attract attention. The female, however, shows no interest in his attack. I tried to recreate one of the environments in which Deinonychus lived: a valley with a floodplain, as it would be in the upper Cloverly Formation.
this is pretty scientifically accurate, but we can only extrapolate from fossil records dinosaur are more related to bird with features.

Good job, btw the render I like the less is just the first one… something weird in the lighting. But the models are very good.

Thank you so much! It’s one of my favorites too. It must have been amazing to see them alive. I’m glad CGI allows us to imagine that.
