Created this sculpt in ZBrush and am now setting everything up for the final render. Character Design by Morten Jaeger from the Flipped Normals course. I’m now playing with smoke sims in Blender. Thinking of adding more to the scythe’s blades and perhaps hands!
Does anyone perhaps have an idea what could cause the black pixels on the floor, around the character’s feet? I thought it might be something coming from the Domain, but that doesn’t seem to be it
+1 to the smoke sim being the cause. I’d try what etn249 says @stephanlevin and see if it temporarily removes the artifacts. To me, it looks like the place where the smoke sim is intersecting with the floor plane.
@etn249@bhibb Yes! I solved it, apparently it really was the smoke sim intersecting with the floor. And I don’t know if this also was part of the problem, but additionally increasing the resolution divisions also helped.
