Desert assault

This is a frame from my submission to the Endless engines Challenge. I’m not satisfied with the final animation but a still frame looks okay.

I posted my original model on sketchfab :

Even if i’m not a big fan of this challenges because i don’t understand why to punish yourself ( ← pun intended) to push this channel so much… but i understand why someone wants to participate and win some prises or get “more famous” ( in a positive way  )… but that are just my 2ct…

Yours looks interesting as far as i can see… and also :+1: to refer all the objects…
Maybe you wanna show a bit more what you did to make the composition to look "not bad" (because finally: that’s what we all wanna know: what’s the secret why this is looking so much better than mine :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: … the prizes maybe ?? Well that’s the trouble i guess…)

I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!

Yeah I see what you mean and I partly agree. I’d do it for the prizes but if you look at the previous challenges nearly all the winners are somehow professionals in a field or another related to 3d and I’m just a hobbyist. So I just do it for 2 reasons :
-Because I like the final montages, you’ve got to admit that there’s something enthralling about watching the same theme being interpreted around by so many different people.
-Because it makes me learn new stuff about Blender.

Maybe I’ll share a bit more details about the process behind this project, but it will all be around the theme : What I did wrong on this one and how you it’s been a very frustrating thing. Still it taught me a lot about blender, fail and learn I guess.
