Desk and smartphone

Hi everyone

I need some feedback and tips on how to make my scene look more photo realistic.
Anything critiques are welcome.

Image would be useful

The perspective dont works for me very well. I mean its about the mart phone not the additional stuff ( note, pen … ect ). The nice thing about a smartphone is the huge display so i would suggest to make it huge too ( a more looking down on it perspective, less forshortening and distorsion ) … only my two cents, keep it up mate, because aside of the perspective/focus issue this looks damn promissing.

The map looks perfectly new you could give it some age by “tearing” some edges. Also if it was new chances are that it was kept rolled up so the sides would be curling.

Well, the map is suppose to be a deskmat and not a serviceable map, but a real old map could be a good idea.

Really cool, like the DoF, how did you create the post-it note out of curiosity?

Thank’s. I wrote the text on a piece of paper, then i took a picture with my camera. I then opened the picture in photoshop, croped and changed the background color. Finally i applied it as a texture in blender

if the map is a deskmap, add a glossy plane and make it bulge where the map is, so you get a hump in the middle of the table

Thanks everyone for the inputs. This project is now in the finished section. Go take a look.:eyebrowlift:

the phone looks almost perfect, however you could put some reflections on the surface, maybe add some depth. Also, try using glare on the screen.
