Different lightning on duplicate projects. Very strange

This project is duplicated, but it has not the same lightning. I have tried everything almost…I am going crazy :frowning: Please help

Here is a render between the projects. See the difference between those two? It is so weird. :frowning:

edit2: it is quite hard to see if you don’t save the images and then go back and forth between them.

Another one, this is easier to see…image of rendered asteroid

What I have checked:

  • Light paths

  • world shader

  • compositor

  • subdivisions

  • motion blur

  • color management

  • camera, clip start - end

  • sizes of light

  • noise treshold

  • samples

  • material

  • texture*

Transparent materials must increase the number of faces of the object being transmitted transparent input value.

I dont understand at all. What is the difference between the 2 projects?

I don’t know the exact problem.
There’s a little difference, but I don’t know if this is a problem with rendering or a problem with configuration

The problem I found is the animation key value applied to particles and materials of unknown cause.

Thanks for your input.

Yes, it was hard to see the differences on that image slide you posted cause of the quality. I was going to start from where the previous project ended. At frame 838. This project I have already rendered with 838 frames x 500 time stretch. So when I was going to start from 0 on the other project at the exact same place the lighting did not add up. Maybe I will have to live with this small difference?

Or I could just paste in the other project. The reason I divided them was because of how large the project is. And for some reason, I really wanted to solve this and know the reason why it was so different lighting. Somehow the lighting on the sun is stronger in the other project even though it is exactly the same strength, angle, size, rotation etc.

The scenes and settings of the two projects look the same, and the cause of the problem is unknown, but my personal guess is that it’s Denoise or Motion Blur.

I attach the image for others to see.
Please wait for other people’s opinions… :slightly_smiling_face:
