different number of samples for each RenderLayer


I`m trying to make a little animation, but the grass of the scene is very complex(a lot of verts) and consume to much time to render on simple frame.

It is possible to assing different amounts of sample for each renderlayer?

I composed the scene in two RenderLayer, building and grass,

The building needs around 1000 samples to be free of noise,
The grass with 50 samples are free of noise, and good time of render.

Another question is If it posible to limit the samples renders by material.

Any trick?
