dirt maps in Blender ?

is there a tutorial somewhere on dirt mapping with Blender ?
It means basically to insert realistic ( old rust type ) effects on an object …


To make something look “dirt” you have to paint your color map and use maybe a bump map and a specular map to give more realism.

It explains how to technically apply a dirt map, with Stencil, etc.
