Disco ball generator - geonodes

Here is a Disco ball generator I cooked up in geonodes:

I generated a helical spiral from math I found here: https://mathcurve.com/courbes3d.gb/helicespheric/helicespheric.shtml

Then I resampled it evenly and instanced mirror tiles along the spiral.

fully scalable and comes pre-animated for all your disco scenes.

There are some intersecting tiles at the poles, but overall I’m pretty satisfied.
