I’ve got an idea for a little scene… but rather than doing some composition research using a block out, I’m going to model everything in detail first
I haven’t made much progress this weekend…
A first simulation test with this pair of gloves.
What patience it takes!
I’m continuing my discovery of the different types of simulation… and it’s quite painful, unfortunately. I’ve even placed the cutlery by hand so as not to abandon the project, and the sink isn’t full yet
I currently know how to do the following things:

Starts an interactive tutorial just for you, in a personal message.

Don’t mind me. I didn’t think discobot was going to post a message
Hi! To find out what I can do, say @discobot display help
.
I recently treated myself with ZenUV.
It doesn’t solve all the problems (like that Sync Selection nonsense to select UV islands), but it’s already so much better!
I am curious, how did you inset the circles into the knife?
Sorry for the delay, I haven’t got a minute for 3d this week
If that’s what you are referring to, the rivets are cylinders and I simply cut holes in the handle with a Boolean.
Absolutely love the clear plastic shader on the dish soap!
Hello picto,
I just discovered your topic.
Very nice and clean topologies, as always…
The dishwashing liquid bottle is great
Personally, for the gloves, I your first image (post #5).
I’m excited to see what happens next …
Great project, thanks for sharing the process!
Thanks.
I bought a pair of these gloves and they’re actually really thin and flexible. I’m much happier with the current version of the simulation, which is more realistic.
One of those is missing from my kitchen!
Youuuuuuu Thieeeeeeeeef!!
Great realism it looks just like it.
