I am trying to use displacement map on a edge of cube. I rotate texture with an empty, but when I hit noise, it thinks the texture has not moved
you can only use the noise function against the y-axis. Rotate the cube instead =)
Isn’t that the z axis rather ?

Don’t forget to try my Displacement Mapping Suite if you want to do this for a sphere, cylinder, or torus.
