Does anybody know where to find this tutorial on animated water?

I found this link through google but I dont really understand the tutorial. I think it was written a while ago.
It would be easier if there was a video tutorial to explain how to effect is done. But I dont know if one exists.

You could also use the OceanSim modifier.
