I think the blender has the tools of modeling to keep you on top of other expensive animation programs.
Yeah @pitiwazou but you have to select the entire edge loop using GridFill, you cannot just select two vertices like this miracle.
The usage way can be more comfortable. but I am sure that similar results can be achieved.
Alt+click to select the loop
