Does Not Installing Blender Cause Less Efficiency?

This may be a dumb question.

Every time a new version of Blender comes out, I just download the zip file and extract it and run the blender.exe. Is there any benefit (I guess what I mean is, would blender run any better) if I were to directly download the .exe and install it rather than running it out of the unzipped folder?
