Dopesheet runs out of frames :(

Hello! I have been creating an animated short, but have come across a problem with the Dope Sheet Editor. Past the 1000 frames mark, the slider bar thing at the bottom begins to shorten/go off screen, so i cant animate past there easily. :frowning:

Is this an error on my part, or is the interface glitched? Here’s a video i made to demonstrate the problem a bit better.

System Specks ‘n’ stuff
Windows 7 64bit
Blender 2.65 32bit(64 bit runs really slow :frowning: )
8gbs of ram
3.8ghz, Intel I7 processor
not sure what else might be needed

Thanks in advance!

try either mouse wheel up and down to zoom, OR
middle mouse left and right, to pan …

keep in mind the dopesheet editors scrollbar has 2 circles in each end, if you click and drag these it changes the “visible range”

Middle mouse works, but it snaps back to where it is when i do it again :(. Thanks though, i tried some random key combinations and holding down ctrl and mousewheel pans the way i want it to, thanks!

Edit:
For anyone who has the same problem, heres the soloution if found in a more clearer way
One way to do it is hold MiddleMouse, then drag
Another way to do it is hold down Ctrl and then scroll
