digital jewelry - 100% blender, mostly modifiers

WOW Doris! The detail is amazing! Really good job!!

thanks, bonrw1! and lots of fun, once i understood how the modifiers work

Stunning… Great work Doris as usall… you have put us all to shame…:frowning:

Keep up the good work… many thumbs up!!!

That is truly gorgeous!

hey norvman, nono, try it, it is just , skrew-, array-, curves and mirror modifiers, it is fun!
thank you mealea, nice to see you here again

more digital jewelry, same technique as the last one, only different design

Love the jewelry! Do more! Great stuff Doris!

glad you like it,yes vicky, i will do… i had made a lot of real jewelry, but cannot anymore, so making digital one is great! only pity is we cannot wear it,lol

and today i learned the lattice modifier, i think i would hardly be able to do such drastic deformations on such a number of high poly objects with such ease as the lattice provided, so definitely a modifier i will be using now more frequently  … marilyn in heartshape …

Wow! Love the stylized Marilyn! great work with the veil too!

I really like the necklace design you came up with in post #1035 Doris, well done.

That is very interesting, Doris. Love a lot of your work, btw.

thank you gradyp, …it is interesting to design pretty things on the fly, so to say. glad you like it.

Oh my word! Incredible! Very detailed! Nice shading too!

 thank you bonrw1  maybe you like this new one too?

i used besides the mirror modifier, the curves-, array-, skrew-, solidify-, lattice-, and subdivision surface modifiers…oh, and bevel modifier too … and made a first try of cloth simulation. blender is so much fun to play with!

Speechless…!!! It’s incredible! Beautiful! The gemstone is beautiful!

thank you bonrw1! yes, cycles renders pretty gemstones, i love cycles  … and, as a teaser, there will come more with this pretty ring

Nice, use more resolution for curves that makes your objects alignments more rounded, easy to see in top left area.

ah, thank you juhaw, i will
