I’m writing a Pathfinder adventure for some friends which will incorporate dragons, airships, and pirates. The first town the Pathfinders find themselves will be seaside shipping port called Daven-Skort, in Ravounel. When they arrive it will be under raid by pirates in an airship and a dragon burning the countryside.
Since I’m writing the story, I wanted some images to go along with it, and I really enjoy Blender, a free/open source tool for art. I created this landscape image as a part of a tutorial from Šime Bugarija.
I was playing with a painterly aesthetic to more closely fit the Pathfinder/DND style art I might find in a book and this is what I came up with:
I definitely recommend Šime Bugarija’s tutorials. This one was focused on landscape using a knight and a castle, but I wanted to take my own spin on things.
