I’m wondering how to make dramatic clouds on blender in the manner of the attached image? Not exactly like it, but the bright glowing edges.
Is there any way using mostly blenders in-build functions?
Thanks

see cloud addons in 2.5
but have to shape your clouds to give good approximation to this!
happy 2.5
OK, thanks, I will look at that. My PC isn’t very grunty though. Are there any ways that don’t need to much processing power?
Oh, I am using 2.5
If you don’t need to move through them or anything, just stick the image you posted in the background of your blender scene! (There is a brand new tutorial on clouds at blendercookie.com, by the way.)
there are some skymap enviromap that have some nice clouds in the background
but if you need to be amongs real shape clouds then use the clouds add on
depends what you need!
salutations
Benu, thanks, I will look at blendercookie.com and see what they have. Also, I want to be able to make my own, for a range of things, so just mapping an image wont do…
Thanks for all your ideas
