Hey everyone! This is my first post here and I’m also pretty new to Blender as a whole. I’ve used it off and on for the past 5 years but have only recently been really digging in and using it for my personal projects.
This pic is my first full scene modeled and lit and rendered in Blender.
It’s a piece that my girlfriend and I will be using to promote one of our products we’ll be selling which has a retro PC theme to it. (We Make Miniature Skateboards under the name “DuckDecks”). It’s inspired by the Windows XP Wallpaper “Bliss” (I matched the camera sensor size and focal length and tried to nail that aesthetic for the most part)
So here it is I’m pretty happy with it for a single evening. I had to learn particle instancing and volumetrics and a lot of fiddly render settings. It feels good to finally be getting my feet underneath me with this amazing software.
