I am working on an abram tank for a game and have run into a problem. Is there any way to duplicate tank treads along a path?
This can be achieved with curves, not possible with polys AFAIK. Could be done using a taper object.
Personally I wouldn’t model a tank tread this way, I would use the spin tool.
You could use an array modifier, a curve modifier and an empty
Curve modifier! - so you can do this with polys [slaps forehead].
