duplication issues

I modeled a shipping container and then used empties to instance a stack of them, all went will with this bit.

I wanted to make them all different as its kind of obvious they are duplicates so I selected one and “made duplicates real”

BUT! - now when I edit that container all the others are being edited too. its not part of the original group and as far as I can see it has no connection to the other meshes but I cant seem to truly separate it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :slight_smile:

Menu - Object - Make Single User and probably the longest line there…
