Is there going to be an updated Duwamf for the upcoming 2.93 release ?

What error do you get? I mainly use 2.92 myself

I think it has something todo with blenders upgrade to python 3.x

Hello ! This looks interesting.

Something is confusing though : when getting the free version from Gumroad, one gets access to two downloads with seemingly similar contents (same readme) and no explanation as to what the difference is :

DuWamf_WhereAreMyFolders.zip
and
DuWamf_Free_28x_v1_1.zip

[edit] seems like the files are respectively 1.0.0 and 1.1.0 ; however there seems to be no mention of that anywhere.

I am not getting any errors with 2.93 nightly on Windows (version: 2.93.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2021-04-07 21:03, hash: b7b1b2325c1a) Can you please tell me how you are running/using it? What is leading to this error? What version of the add-on are you using?
