DVD Drive Problems

Hey, guys. I’m having some trouble with my DVD Drive. It won’t read any discs. It detects them, but it just won’t read them. You can look at the pictures I’ve attached to get a better idea of what I’m talking about. If you look closely at the “After” picture, you’ll see that there is no meter indicating the amount of space left on the DVD as there is for fully functional drives. I assume this is because it won’t or can’t properly read the disc. Here are some of my specs:

OS: Vista Home Premium
DVD Drive Model: Optiarc DVD RW AD-7563A ATA Device
Model: Gateway T-1628 (32-bit)

If there’s anything else anyone needs to know, don’t hesitate to ask! Thanks in advance!
