Earth in cycles- problem

Hello everyone!

I got a problem with materials of earth from http://www.blendswap.com/blends/mate...rth-in-cycles/ .

I am trying to make lights of cities etc. only lighting on the dark side of earth. My results:

What am i doing bad?

NOTE:// Sorry for duplicating thread, but i am new on the blenderartist.org . To admins: Can you delete a my first thread from Work in progress?

EDIT://I add an alpha texture with lights only (selected image texture in node editor).

  2. You connect diffusion bsdf node output to color ramp node, i am very doubt is make sense, you can connect closures only to mix/add nodes or material output surface.

I got it!
Only what to do was add gradient texture.
