This mirror is modeled after an antique one that I have in my house. The decorative style of it is called East Lake. It was popular in the early 1900s. This project was an attempt at modeling with minimal geometry and no subsurf. The real challenge here was making all of that carved detail with as few verts as possible. I am pretty happy with the result.
