Hello, I want to use Blender to trim and crop some simple video clips. It’s always just one file that I am editing.
Is there an easy way to crop a video and then remove the black/transparent borders and reduce the video resolution to only show the cropped area?
You dont really even need the compositor, you could do it with this setup.
Image on plane, Zero out a camera then zoom to crop, load movie into the material as shown, set frame end, re-render.
In the compositor it seems more complicated, but can be done like this…
