I would like to know if there is an option to edit your post without bumping it every time?
A suggestion that came in mind with all the new 2.80 blend’s shared recently. Since a 2.8 file will crash previous Blender versions immediate and it seem’s it can’t be flagged at upload time: Let the user set a version tag directly in the upload field for major versions?
Only edits to the last post in a topic will bump it. There’s no option to do a ‘minor edit’.
And the issue with crashing 2.80 files should solve itself when people move to 2.80; there’s no option to add such information to uploads other than tagging a topic or just mentioning the file version in your post.
