Messing with a blender 2.79 file that came from Youtube. Rendering with Eevee. There seems to be an shadow error from the chair legs and hoping that will be fixed.

At the moment, Eevee uses a very low res Shadow model but a way bigger problem is that your scene is way way way to dark.
