Eevee glass! (Blender 3.4)

Hello everyone!

I was trying to learn how to create a cube with transparent or semi-transparent material, to create glass or maybe water on eevee. I watched so many tutorials on youtube and looked for posts here, I tried with nodes, changing the render properties but nothing works, probably I’m probably wrong in something, but I can’t find the problem. I have a sphere inside the cube with an emission texture. Thank you in advice!

My last attempt was with this tutorial of Sketches For Humanity, minute 9:00

Try turning the roughness right down to like .1

Your second and third images show 2 different materials. Are you sure the correct material is assigned to the cube?

I set up a material per your image above, and it came out looking just fine.

The only thing I can figure is what etn249 said above, that you have two different materials on the cube, and the proper material isn’t applied, or you forgot to to turn Screen Space Refraction in the Material Settings.

That’s true, thanks to you I realized that I have not one, TWO random materials in my default cube, I mean, when I open blender, the default cube is white, but under the white material another red material is there… but it still not working :smiling_face_with_tear:

As I told @etn249 , I realized that I have not one, TWO random materials in my default cube, I mean, when I open blender, the default cube is white, but under the white material another red material is there…
I had problems, because I didn’t know why my light material in the inside sphere didn’t shine, just flat light, and well I remembered the bloom in the eevee settings, thanks to you and @etn249 now I have a cute light in a sphere hahaha
