What do you think of theese eggs I’ve created?
By the way, does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix the bump mapping texture issue at the top of the egg as it gets narrower and the texture gets smaller? If so, I would be really happy to know!
Eggcellent! … Sorry, couldn’t resist.
I’m guessing you used a UV sphere, this would result in pinching of the texture and bump. Try using a subdived cube to get a smoother result.
Looks great, but I think a real egg has smaller textures and more specularity to it.
Seconded. I also a agree that this looks great though.
Simple yet elegant! Have you considered warming the lighting of the scene? Maybe like a faint yellow or orange side or overhead light? I think it would add a nice touch.
I’m really digging the minimalist feel of this image. Even if the specularity and texturing may be slightly off, the way the light wraps around the eggs and shows their form is very pleasing. You have a real eye for composition here.
In fact, when it comes to composition, you might say you’re not “yolking” around.
There, I said it.
