Here’s my first finished project, an electric guitar. Rendered in indigo for 14.5hrs so far, its at 1035 samples per pixel. I’ll let it keep rendering for awhile and post an update if it looks better.

That is really a beautiful result. I went to the fender site because I thought the tuning head looked too wide but I think it might be a visual impression from the missing logo. Where are those nice mother-of-pearl fret markers?

The soft lighting really shows off your work nicely. You are going to have to model a guitar stand if you take this any further — I would hate for it to fall over and get scratched.

I love it it looks great i dont really see anything wrong with it and are you going to make that guitar stand?lol its just kind of floating there.

g60 Thanks! I can’t believe I forgot the fret markers, I’ll have to go back and add those.

darksidownz Thanks! Right now the guitar is just tocuhing the ground by the strap hook thing; I thought about making a stand, but wasn’t sure what style stand to make.

your frets are off. the 19-20 frets are alot closer together than the other frets around there. They all look off to me, though i have been playing for near 5 years and am building one, so i’m probably just scrutinizing it too much. there are only 21 frets where most stratocasters have 22 if not 24.

I’ll fix 19-20 when I add fret markers. This is based off a squire (piece placement wise), thats why theres only 21 frets. Thanks!

Very nice :cool:,
Its a clean render and the modeling/ lighting is good, however the background is kinda plain.
And the guitar looks like it could tip any second ;).

Good job.

I think you did an awesome job. The only thing I can see that could be better is the cord, it looks too “heavy” coming from the amp to the floor. Maybe place a pick in between the strings? Looks great Doublez!
