I’m from visiting Sweden for two weeks this month. I’m wondering if the adapters used to convert North American electrical plugs into Swedish electrical plugs really work? Is there any danger of ruining electrical equipment (my laptop) if I use one of these adapters? Has anyone any info on this? If I can’t ensure a safe source of power, I don’t want to bring my laptop.

don’t use the power adapeter only, you need a voltage regilator to step down the voltage! that addaprter (unless otherwises noted* only makes you cord fit into the holes, you need the voltage regulator to no tburn the crap out of you laptop.
